Coaching & Consulting with Jim Trick

"I own a small business and saw opportunity to grow.  I could see the potential but needed a lot of help.  Jim helped me organize my thoughts, put together a game plan, and was there for me as we executed the plan.  Today I am more confident and have a stronger business because of the time I spent with Jim."

"Jim Trick has been an annual speaker at the Berklee College of Music's Professional Development Seminar. He is a most powerful speaker. This is reinforced by looking at my student's faces while Jim is presenting his talk...which actually can be called a performance, in the best sense of the word.  It is rare and welcome to hear a speaker who actually walks the walk to back up what he is saying with real, practical, hard fought wisdom. Jim's is a transformative message. He is an inspiration not just because his tells his story, but relates his lessons to our real life which gives his listeners practical life changing inspiration."

"I started working with Jim in April of 2013.  At the time I was transitioning from one job to another, and struggling to find a way to apply myself and feel more fulfilled in my daily life. We worked together for three months, and in that time he was able to light a fire under me that set my flames higher than I knew they could burn.    With Jim’s encouragement I bought a one-way plane ticket to Asia where I have spent the last eight months, growing as an individual and as a professional.  It has been the most exhilarating time of my life, and I never would have ventured out if it hadn't been for my time with Jim."

“Thanks for helping our son get back on the right road and for giving him the tools he needs to navigate life’s twists and turns”

"I cannot speak highly enough about my Life Coach Experience with Jim Trick. I was amazed at how quickly he grasped my needs. I was at a crossroad in multiple areas of my life including professional and personal. His coaching guided me to find the clarification within myself that I needed. In addition he helped me to process grief in a very healing way."

"So, I have to admit when a very dear friend talked to me about their life coach, Jim Trick, I really didn't think it was what I needed. My entire life had been turned upside down. Medical tragedies had led to a series of events that resulted in the loss of my marriage, my home, and so much more. My son was involved in a horrific car accident which resulted in a severe brain injury.

Now in my 50's, I had found myself trying to help myself and my children piece back together our broken lives. I was overwhelmed by all of the emotions that I was trying to keep buried. I had lost the life that I had chosen and believed in. I was trying to be strong and keep it together for my children. I was afraid to allow myself to feel what was buried inside. I thought it was just too much for me to handle. I had decisions to make. I did not want to merely exist and survive."

So, my image of life coach was someone who would have me write my goals. They would have me speak positive affirmations. They would have no possible idea of what I felt or what I had lost. I was wrong.

Thankfully, my friend was such a trusted friend that I chose to give it a try. To my amazement, from the first telephone coaching session, I felt understood. Somehow, Jim managed to hear words that I wasn't able to speak. From there, we entered into a journey. I felt like he reached inside my soul. Together, we discovered safe, creative, and extremely healing ways for me to grieve. I learned to accept my feelings of loss without feeling guilty. I am not one who likes self pity. I thought that I should focus on the fact that my son had survived and not the loss. I learned that it was okay to feel both.

I was never told what my goals should be. What did happen, is that I reached a place where I was able to chart a new course for my life. My life is so much better now. Through the help of God, amazing people in my life, and my life coach, Jim Trick, my career is going well. I have an amazing relationship with my children. My faith is stronger than it has ever been. I still have moments where I grieve my life as it once was. That is okay. I am so thankful to Jim for guiding me through these major transitions in my life. "

"Working with Jim Trick, is a life altering, eye opening experience. You go into your first session not knowing exactly what "life coaching ," is.  In reality it is whatever you need it to be. It is comfort on a bad day, it is homework assignments where you get to know yourself, not the self you portray to the world, but the self that lives deep inside of you just waiting to be awakened and noticed.  Jim has a way ofmaking you dig deeper, even when you don't want to, but in the end you're a better more whole person for having done so,and he does this in a compassionate, caring, and non judgmental way ,that makes you feel safe. He will call your BS, but will do so lovingly, he will check in to see what you need, and he will listen, and he will tell you the truth, and do so in a way it doesn't make you feel bad. He's like a life altering magician, you go in one way,and come out a more whole, less fractured/broken. I am a better person for having known him, and am thankful for all he has done for me.  Any one would be lucky to have him in their lives, and to be able to work along side him on your journey towards greatness, and realness."

"Working with Jim was a delight. He is very easy to talk to and asks probing, incisive questions in a non-threatening way. He definitely helped me focus on areas where I needed to grow and improve.”

"You are helping me uncover my honest heart, and the path is slowly lighting up in front of me. Thank you."
